Global Warming and the New Ice Age
The Truth about Global Warming
Proclaiming that global warming means impending doom, based on some temperature
readings from the past 2 or 3 decades, is tantamount to saying the Bears would
inevitably win this year’s Superbowl after Devin Hester returned the opening
kickoff for a TD. As we know, the Colts went on to thrash the Bears.
The Colts’ victory was predicted by the gambling public, based on solid evidence
from the regular season and seasons past, which is the same way we will now look
at the global warming issue. What does past evidence say about the issue?
Now I’m going to ask you to do something that may be difficult. Ignore the
garbage that the media is continually pouring on us, and stand and reason for a
moment about this issue. Let’s think about this, and look at scientific facts,
rather than just regurgitating what they’ve told us.
The media has told you that (man-made) global warming is a fact. The activist
scientists involved have concluded by consensus majority among themselves that
the debate on global warming is over. My friends, the debate has barely begun.
About consensus science: Wasn’t there once a consensus that the earth was flat?
Wasn’t there a consensus that the universe revolved around the earth? Didn’t
Galileo almost get himself hanged for claiming the earth was round, and revolved
around the sun? History has shown that Galileo was right, and the consensus
majority was dead wrong. A consensus is a poll, not science.
I am not claiming to be Galileo, nor do I have to. There are many scientists
that have now crawled out of their laboratory shells and closed up their
microscopes long enough to dispute the “consensus,” now that this topic has
reached peak hysteria.
Imagine, if you will, that the scientific evidence of recent history showed that
on our beloved planet there has been a long ice age followed by a brief
interglacial (warm) period approximately every 100,000 years. In fact, that’s
exactly what has happened!
Scientific geological studies have shown beyond a reasonable doubt, that this
ice age cycle has taken place. My favorite chart shows the measurements of the
Vostok ice core, but there are many others that show almost the exact same
results. Please take a moment to look over the following graphic.

Can you see the pattern? About every 100,000 years, there is a pronounced warm
period that is ever so brief in the grand scheme of things (generally accepted
to be about 10,000 years). This is followed by a long cooling cycle, with some
peaks and valleys, which results in an ice age that is substantially longer than
the warm period.
Students and professors of this phenomenon will tell you that the major warming
and cooling oscillation is the result primarily of solar cycles, while the
intermediary cycles are likely a result of geothermal activity and
precipitation, as well as solar activity.
The question you must now ask is: what nation was using excessive fossil fuels
during those periods to cause the warming cycle? I’m not an ancient history
expert, but I doubt that there was massive use of coal or oil over 100,000 years
ago, judging from the relatively recent invention of steam and gasoline engines.
Global warming may be real, as far as the last 20-30 years. However, there is no
evidence at all that it’s man-made, and either way the tiny warming period is
completely insignificant in the grand scheme of the ice age cycle.
Last time I checked, we don’t control solar activity, geothermal activity, or
precipitation, elements which could cause global warming and cooling. So what is
the global warming hysteria all about then?
It’s about control, by the anti-population, anti-industry, anti-capitalist,
anti-American lobby that propagates this myth. Think about how they almost
passed a global tax on the most developed nations (see Kyoto Protocol). If it
weren’t for one president of this country that refused to sign it, we would be
paying this global tax in addition to the other unconstitutional taxes that we pay.
The entire global warming lobby is run by former Nazis, communists, socialists,
and others in search of a tool that can impede the progress and success of
America. They would prefer a global government run by the likes of Kofi Annan,
to put us in our place. In this utopia, there are no rich people, aside from
those running the show and collecting the taxes. Misery is spread equally among
the minions.
Now if you look at the left side of the graph closely, you will see that we are
now in one of those peak interglacial (warming) periods, which most scientists
estimate we have been in for about 10,000 years. It also happens that 10,000
years is the average length of an interglacial period.
The next major progression, regardless of small-term warming and cooling, is a
long downward spiral into a new ice age. Geological evidence shows that during
the last ice age, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, across to Washington state,
and all points north, were buried under one to two MILES of ice!
The impending ice age, in my opinion, is the real concern. Of course, it won’t
happen during our lifetimes, but we all hope to have some descendants that will
enjoy our way of life. Most people would not be happy living in a country that
is buried in ice.
It is also very difficult to grow crops, livestock, and in general, stay warm
during an ice age. These types of conditions would certainly result in reduced
population, poor economy, lower living standards, and general malaise. I
wouldn’t wish an ice age on my worst descendant.
Imagine if you are a citizen of the new world order 10,000 years from now,
trying to stay warm in Mexico, and you read about Al Gore trying to save us from
global warming. He wanted to do what?! You’d probably build a time travel
machine to come back and run against him, for president and an Oscar.
What’s so bad about global warming anyway? Higher agricultural and livestock
production, easier driving conditions, and warmer temperatures. So a few ski
slopes would close. Not the end of the world. An ice age? That WOULD be the end
of the world as we know it.
So what are we going to do about it? What can we do? Aside from pleading with
the sun to stop cycling.
If you really believe that fossil fuels are causing global warming (the chances
of which are extremely low), I would advise you to keep using them, in as large
amounts as possible. You won’t be making any difference, but at least you’ll
feel good knowing you’re doing the right thing, and driving a nicer car while
you’re at it.
I’d rather have future generations remember me for being someone who tried to
stave off the next ice age, not encourage it. We have larger problems to deal
with regarding national security, which we actually CAN control.
It’s time to stop the hysteria. Enjoy the warmth, while it lasts. We are blessed
to be in one of the warmest eras in the known history of the earth. Not only
that, but when it does get cold outside, we can hide inside and burn fossil
fuels (or use environmentally friendly solar, wind, or nuclear power) to stay warm.
My advice: don’t waste your life panicking about something we have no control
of. And, whatever you do, don’t ever vote for Al Gore, for anything.
Now go spread the news.
