The UN has Libya in charge
of human rights commission, and Iraq at the head of disarmament. If that
statement sounds like a joke, that's because it is. The UN has turned out to be
a big joke. You're right, the UN is our organization, and therefore if we
ignore it, it will go away like it should. Ever heard of the League of
Nations? It was doomed to irrelevance by
its inaction. We simply tried the
diplomacy route to appease nations and it did not work. The UN has too many individual country's
interests in mind, including France, the #1 trade partner with Iraq, and don't
forget Russia and Germany, the main suppliers of weapons to Iraq. No wonder
they vetoed!
You need to understand that the
US is in charge of the world, not the UN. The sooner you realize that, the more
you'll understand. Our country has to do what's right for the preservation of
peace in our time, because the UN simply can't and won't.
What I said about the
average american, is that they simply don't have access to classified
intelligence information that our government leaders do, except that which is
leaked. Believe me, if that's all you've seen, you haven't seen shit, there's a
lot more to it than what you mentioned. There's phone calls, meetings, photos
of Boeing 707 terrorist training fuselage, as well as the well known public
info of terrorist organizations that are harbored and supported by Saddam. Bush
would not start this war for the hell of it, that's a ridiculous accusation. He
has good reason, and he's doing it for the right reasons. We can't have all the
info, but we know they do.
I never said americans were
stupid. What I do know is that 75%
of Americans support the war, showing
that at least 75% have some intelligence.
I am very impressed with the american people. After 8 years of
brainwashing by the Clinton administration, and by the all the mainstream
media, they still managed to snap out of it long enough to elect a real
president. Americans were smart enough to elect a good man over a lying
sonofabitch. I give them credit.
As for Gephart, he'll do
whatever it takes to stay in power, but I do think he's patriotic as well. He doesn't care about blatantly pushing the
idiotic liberal agenda, he just cares about getting reelected, which is a step
up I'd say.
Lastly, going into china
would cause WW3 and you know it, both countries would suffer severe nuclear
annihilation. China should have never
been let to grow to the power that it is, but it is reasonably a lot more
stable than Iraq. All we can do is talk to them about it, which is better than
giving them weapons technology like Clinton did. That is, until we complete our
missile defense development programs, and have a solid shield in place, programs
that the Clinton administration tried desparately to hinder. At that point, we
can start making demands.
