Don't you see that the US IS in charge
of the world? It was the US that
liberated the jews from the rule of Hitler, that kept him from taking over the
world. It was the US
(Reagan) that dissolved the Soviet Union, the
evil empire. It's always the US
that saves everybody from their dictators, or from themselves. We are the only
superpower in the world, whether or not you want to be, and we have to act like
it. We have to use all that military and economic might to act responsibly and
decisively in keeping world peace, as our president is acting now. See, unlike
politicians that you favor, Bush stands on principle and wants to do what is
right for our country, putting his country above self (gee that's a unique
idea!)
The fact that you would not
trust yourself with all that power and to use it wisely, is notwithstanding. We
have the power, and we have to elect people that we trust, like Bush, to use
the great power for the preservation of peace in our time. Not slimy characters
like Daschle, Gephart, or Clinton, who did nothing but bring this country down.
We need to keep electing the Bush's, Reagan's, Gingrich's, and Cheney's: these
are people that care about the preservation of their country, not advancing
their own agenda or legacy like the liberals.
If it were up to the
politicians you favor during the last century, we'd all be speaking German or
Japanese, living in little shacks, with nothing to eat, watching our infant
starve to death, even though we just worked 18 hours a day monitoring the incineration
camp of whatever group was the mass murder victim of the day, while getting
several whippings on our back for trying to help a poor prisoner whose crime
was being of a different race than our ethnically correct leader.
Liberals always like to bring
up N.Korea as a "greater problem" than Iraq. OK, so you want to wait for Iraq to turn
into another N.Korea!?! So then IRAQ
can also bribe us, crying "we have nukes we have nukes give us money or
we're gonna use em on somebody,", just like the whining crybaby in
N.Korea! That would be great, then we
could give away billions of dollars to support IRAQ's military also, knowing they
won't spend any on food for their starving. You liberals are so short-sighted
it never ceases to amaze me. Besides that Korea is a completely different
type of problem now, for one it's China's problem, and has to be
resolved diplomatically thru China.
What Korea has
planned for us? They plan to bribe us with their nuclear weapons and extort
millions of dollars, so they can spend more on developing WMD while their
citizens starve in their straw huts.
By the way, there's less
than 10 (a far cry from your 30) countries with nuclear weapons. The adult
countries like Russia,
China,
and France,
Britain,
Israel,
and India,
are not an immediate threat to us. They have had the technology long enough and
understand the concept of mutually assured destruction. They are for the most
part peaceful nations. They have stable
governments and do not wish to cause war. I'm very skeptical about China, but
there's not much we can do about it now, they already are a nuclear power.
Countries with rogue, brutal, war-mongering dictators like Iraq and NKorea
are a completely different story, and need to be handled differently.
We all realize that there
are a dozen or so countries out there with brutal dictators, but none of them
besides Iraq and Nkorea are developing WMD particularly nuclear weapons. The
others, we go in when things get bad enough, Somalia, Bosnia, you name it we'll go
liberate people when genocide gets out of control. We can't do it all, but we do what we can.
There you go, compare Bush
to Hitler. Did it ever occur to you that there might be a similarity between
Saddam and Hitler? OK 1 difference, Bush
doesn't commit mass genocide to his own people or any other people for that
matter. Next question.
You're a good arguer, but
you might find it's a lot easier when facts and history are on your side like they are mine.
